Chair of the Steering Committee, European Energy Poverty Observatory

Stefan Bouzarovski is Professor at the University of Manchester’s Urban Institute, where he directs the Collaboratory for Urban Resilience and Energy. He is also External Professor at the Institute of Geography, University of Gdańsk, Poland, and Visiting Professor at the Department of Geography, University of Bergen, Norway. Stefan chairs the European Energy Poverty Observatory and the COST network EnergyPovertyAction. He has previously held full-time appointments at the Universities of Oxford, London and Birmingham, and visiting professorships at universities in Prague, Berlin, Stockholm, Bruges and Brisbane. His research has informed the work of the European Union, the United Nations, the World Bank and the International Energy Agency.
